This weekend in CedarVille, we learned that God loves good choices! The Fruit of the Spirit can help us make good choices and live the best kind of life!
As a family, read about the Fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22-23, and spend time discussing the questions below.
Family Discussion Questions:
Does the Holy Spirit give us apples and grapes? What is the fruit that the Holy Spirit gives us? How would you describe each of the fruit? We have the opportunity to choose these fruit when we live our life. which one is the easiest for you to choose? Which is the hardest for you to choose?
This weekend we discussed the Fruit of the Spirit. We talked about how God gives us these fruit, but we have to choose to use them. This week we are going to make fruit of the spirit emojis! For each of the fruit, talk as a family about what that fruit looks like. Then work together to draw an emoji that represents that fruit. Be creative and try to make each emoji different. When you are all done put them somewhere in your house where your whole family can see them and be reminded to choose these fruit!
In CedarVille, we have the opportunity to memorize a verse and earn a special treat. It makes all the difference when families work on memorizing the verse together! This week take time to practice Galatians 5:22-23 NLT. The verse is found below. Check out our CedarVille.tv Facebook page for motions that can help your family learn the memory verse together!
“But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.” – Galatians 5:22-23 NLT
