Living It Out – Discussion Questions
(Discuss these questions in your LifeGroup and/or with your family and friends.)

1. In this weekend’s message, Lee discussed how it is so easy for us to assume that God will forgive us for our mistakes, yet we struggle to forgive others. Who are you struggling to forgive? Why have you been unable to forgive them?

2. Whenever we are hurt by others, we often hold onto those hurts as proof of their wrongdoing. Why is forgiveness the key to healing the hurts that happen in our interpersonal relationships? Conversely, how does resentment destroy the one who holds the grudge?

3. At some point or another every one of us has offended, hurt or devastated someone else. Too often, stubbornness or pride keeps us from admitting our wrongdoing. Who do you need to ask forgiveness from in order to begin the healing process of that relationship?

4. After listening to this weekend’s message and these discussion questions, what action steps do you feel God has placed on your heart?

Living It Out – Scripture Memory
(Memorize this verse for the month of August.)
EPHESIANS 2:10 (New Living Translation)
For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created
us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the
good things he planned for us long ago.
